Caroline James, a native of Welcome, NC, is an experienced REALTOR with a deep understanding of the local area. After completing her education at Davidson County Community College, Appalachian State University, and UNC Charlotte, Caroline embarked on a career in the NASCAR industry, working at ECR Engines on the Richard Childress Racing campus.
Although Caroline initially pursued her dream of becoming a Social Worker, she discovered that her true passion lay in Real Estate, a field that her father, Keith, had always encouraged her to explore. Recognizing her innate talent for selling homes and finding the perfect matches for her clients, Caroline made the decision to enter the Real Estate industry in January 2019. Her first year in the business was remarkably successful, and she continues to be one of the top-performing agents in Davidson County.
With an impressive average of 9-10 million dollars’ worth of transactions closed each year, Caroline has cultivated a loyal client base and receives numerous referrals. Caroline resides in Midway with her husband Luke James, their two children, Waylon and Hadley, and an assortment of animals, including three dogs (Ranger, Molly, and Lucy) and various farm animals. Among her notable rescues is a Texas Longhorn named Moonshine, whom Caroline nurtured from infancy and now proudly considers part of her goat clan. Moonshine even accompanies Caroline on walks outside the pasture, leashed and obedient. In her leisure time, Caroline enjoys spending time making memories with her family, vacationing to the beach, and engaging in various outdoor activities. She also assists Luke in operating J&H Greenhouses, a business they took over from Luke’s grandfather, Bruce Hill, renowned in the community for his tomato plants. Caroline’s passion for gardening extends to growing vegetables, and she hopes to persuade Luke to incorporate more flowers into their greenhouse offerings.
