The Prom Project
The New Year came with an abundance of resolutions; pretty standard for this time of year. At Mantle Realty, we are focusing on increasing our community involvement in 2019. Community is the core of our company culture. One of the first, of many, undertakings of the year is The Prom Project. This program will provide free gowns, shoes, and accessories to the students of our county. Mantle Realty Prom Project
Ashley Weitzel created this initiative to improve one of the biggest nights of high school, for the students throughout Davidson County. She saw a need and organized a Prom collection drive, to ensure that no students will miss out on the experience of prom. Mantle Realty will be collecting gowns, shoes, and accessories at our location across from North Davidson High School. All donations are appreciated beyond measure.
If you have a clean dress, in good condition, along with shoes, or accessories, please drop them by the office at 7224 Old U.S. Hwy 52 in Lexington. We will be providing updates online about the drive and our goals. The Prom Project pop-up store will open March 2nd, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, at 206 N Main St in Lexington. There is a gown limit of one per student, to expand this effort to as many students as possible.
Thank you to everyone that has shared our event and donated to this effort. Please continue to share our facebook event and blog updates, to spread the word. Our goal is to help as many kids as we can. If you are in need of a dress, mark your calendars and we will see you in March at Mantle Realty Prom Project.
