Maple Leaf Farm is a master-planned community at 111 Sugar Maple Drive in King, North Carolina, on the Stokes County side of town, zip 27021, in the foothills fifteen minutes north of Winston-Salem. Stanley Martin (which acquired original builder Windsor Homes in 2025) is down to its final two homes as of August 2026 — two move-in-ready Belton plans, 1,941 sq ft, 4 bedrooms, at $339,990 each.
Two Builders, One Master Plan
Maple Leaf Farm hosts two distinct products: Stanley Martin’s single-family homes (this page) and The Village at Maple Leaf Farm, a 35-home active-adult villa community by Nova Triad Homes inside the same plan. They are separate offerings with separate pricing — don’t conflate them.
Living in King
King pairs Stokes County taxes with a quick Highway 52 run into Winston-Salem, with Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock’s trails up the road. Once these last two homes close, Stanley Martin’s side of the plan moves to resale.
Schools Serving Maple Leaf Farm
The community is served by Stokes County Schools — not Winston-Salem/Forsyth — despite King straddling the county line. Sources differ on the elementary: the builder lists King Elementary School while assignment records show Poplar Springs Elementary School; either way students continue to Chestnut Grove Middle School and West Stokes High School. Confirm the elementary assignment with the district before relying on it.
