Kernersville, NC, is a beautiful town in the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. Known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and natural beauty, Kernersville has plenty to offer during the spring months. We are going to take a look at some of the exciting events and activities that you can enjoy in Kernersville this spring.

What’s going on in Kernersville in the Spring?

Spring Folly Festival: One of the most anticipated events in Kernersville is the Spring Folly Festival. This year, the festival will be held on May 5-7, 2023. The festival features live music, carnival rides, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and much more. 

It’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful spring weather while experiencing the local culture and community. Make sure to come to find the Mantle Realty Tent. We will be set up for the whole Spring Folly Festival. 

Piedmont Earth Day Fair in April. Another exciting event in Kernersville this spring is the Piedmont Earth Day Fair, which will be held on April 23, 2022. This fair celebrates sustainability and environmentalism, featuring educational booths, live music, and activities for all ages. It’s a great way to learn more about how you can help protect the environment and support local organizations working to make a difference.

Other Things to do in Kernersville

Hiking and Biking Trails: Kernersville is home to some of the most beautiful Triad parks and trails that are perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. One popular trail is the Salem Lake Trail, which offers scenic views of the lake and is great for hiking, biking, and fishing. This trail loops from Kernersville to Winston-Salem and is a great place to bring your kids. Carolina Field of Honor: The Memorial in this location pays tribute to all those who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. It features large and small granite monuments, flags, an obelisk, water features, and a memorial Brick Walk representing each branch of the service. The Memorial is situated on a pastoral border between Forsyth and Guilford counties, encompassing a rustic 428-acre park.

The Memorial stands as a testament to the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, and it serves as a place of remembrance and honor for all who have defended our country.

Farmers Markets: Spring is the perfect time to enjoy fresh, local produce, and Kernersville has several farmers’ markets where you can find a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables. The Kernersville Farmers Market is open on Saturdays from April through October, and the Triad Farmers Market is open year-round on Saturdays and Sundays.
