A graduate of Lexington Senior High School in 2011, Tyler stayed active competing in multiple sports. He was a four-year wrestler with state-level finishes as both a junior and senior, while also playing catcher for baseball and goalie for soccer. That competitive background shaped the work ethic and preparation he now brings to every real estate transaction.
After high school, Tyler attended St. Andrews University on a wrestling scholarship before returning home to work and continue his education at Davidson County Community College, where he completed Basic Law Enforcement Training.

In 2016, Tyler began his career with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. He has worked in the jail, on patrol, and in civil while earning an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. His law enforcement experience sharpened his attention to detail, calm decision-making, and ability to manage complex situations under pressure.

Family and Community
Tyler is married to fellow Mantle Realty agent Amanda Newton and is the proud father of his son, Keithan.
Outside of real estate, you will often find Tyler coaching or watching youth sports, playing video games, or supporting the Carolina Panthers. He also developed a fondness for Las Vegas after a Mantle team trip and looks for any opportunity to head back.
