Greensboro has many neighborhoods that are great places to call home. Many neighborhoods are convenient to I-85, I-40, and I-73, making it easy to travel from the city to other central North Carolina cities and towns like High Point, Kernersville, Winston-Salem, and RTP. The Piedmont Triad International Airport is just on the outskirts of town, a 20-minute or less drive from most neighborhoods.



Greensboro has many opportunities for higher education. Greensboro is home to universities such as the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, NC A&T State University, Greensboro College, and Guilford College

Younger students in Greensboro attend Guilford County Public Schools, many of which have excellent test scores, low student-to-teacher ratios, and active PTAs.

Greensboro boasts a lively downtown, large employers, and miles of greenways and parks. Some of the local favorite parks are  Country ParkThe Bog Garden, and  LeBauer Park. Greensboro’s residents also enjoy neighborhood playgrounds, walking trails, and national parks like  Guilford Courthouse National Military Park and  Bur-Mill Park. Greensboro is also known or it’s golf courses. There are public courses such as  Bryan Park, and many private clubs all across the area. Greensboro also has three lakes, Lake Townsend Lake Higgins, and  Lake Brandt with kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and more.
