Community Highlights: Communication Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing/ CSDHH
It is our mission here at Mantle Realty to support our community. Starting out as a small firm, we have built our success on hard work. For instance, we believe not only in the importance of details to help buyers buy or sell a home. Mitchell and Aprill Smith are a husband and wife team at Mantle Realty. However, while keeping the service and community thought, Mr. and Mrs. Smith have committed to offering $250 to the charity of their buyers choice at the closing of their bought or sold home. Their first donation of 2020 was chosen by their buyer. Ruth (picture A below) to the Communication Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
CSDHH In Detail:
CSDHH is a non-profit organization with a 9-member Board of Directors. Their Board consists of local community leaders who represent the Triad from their website http://www.csdhh.org/. Since this, the funding for Communication Services are grown through donations from both state and private foundations. They are also funded through fees from services.
Located in the beautiful Revolution Mill, Communication Services welcomes you with a great office. The great ladies listed below (picture B) are as follows from left to right, Meredith Kaplan, our Outreach Coordinator, Paige Sprinkle, our Program Coordinator, Kelle Owens, our Executive Director, and Aprill Smith, our Mantle Real Estate Agent.

Some of the services they provide are individualized client services, educational based examples to local businesses, sign language classes, silent dinners. For instance, twice a month, at various restaurants, friends, and family group activities (preK-12 students) just to name a few. The staff is warm and afraid to help anyone who walks through the door.
The Communication Services logo(pictured below left) and Ruth (pictured right) along with Mantle Realty have come together in the spirit that CSDHH stands for; the connection of people.
“Every one of us is different in some way, but for those of us who are more different, we have to put more effort into making the less different that we can do the same thing they can, just differently.” Marlee Beth Matlin
