Sam Whitman had the pleasure of growing up in the Wallburg area of Forsyth County. As a teenager, he spent many days cruising down the back roads of the Triad. It’s safe to say he knows a thing or two about Davidson and Forsyth Counties. After high school, Sam joined the US Army National Guard as a Military Police Officer. He served eight years in our military. He later went on to college to further his career.
Sam has stayed local for most of his adult life. Attending Forsyth Technical Community College for Race Car Technology; he not only earned an Associates Degree but opened the door to achieving his lifelong dream of working in NASCAR. His dream has brought countless opportunities to travel and visit cities all over the USA. Sam is currently employed with Richard Childress Racing, as a Tire Specialist on the number 2 Xfinity car.
While racing has been his dream since he was a child. His fascination with home design and the process of homeownership quickly sparked a passion. He knew he had to be in realty.
Sam Whitman resides in Midway, NC with his high school sweetheart & now wife, Shelley, and son, Gunner. Sam’s idle time is spent playing “superheroes” with his three-year-old and sneaking in an occasional date night when life allows. He is an avid animal lover! Sam and his family have rescued a number of animals in past years and currently have two dogs, Norah & Cam Newton! Yes, the Whitman family are die-hard Carolina Panther fans… even in the rough seasons.
